Portraits of three hybrid women
All are wearing the same fabric in a different way.
Sharing the same fabric is symbolic of unity in diversity; we might differ in cultural background and religion but at the end of the journey we all come from the same world culture and we are all one.

ECHOS

ECHOS is an art adventure that started in 2023. It questions the now, the self and how we can imprint what is usually ephemeral and unseen. Since i have started practicing dance, questions like " do my hands in fact dance when they hold a paint brush?, is my body creating visual patterns when i am moving from one side to another while dancing on a stage ?"

ECHOS aims at creating more patterns with new people who have other life stories to relate through their imprints. It is an ongoing art adventure and research.

"The aim of art is not to represent the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."

MY ART MY LIFE
"I have always been fond of the Arts in general.

During college life, i enjoyed my art and literature classes more than any other subjects.  I participated in all competitions available and proudly represented my college several times, honoured with prizes. I also participated in Drama workshops and mural paintings.

I love the feel of the brush between my finger tips and the sound of my goonghroos singing to the tune of my feet.

As an Art and Design educator,  resource person  and an Art and Dance trainer, sharing my passion for the arts is my daily routine.  Reaching others through my art is my goal."
